我很棒


最近有很多事情和想法,我都想嘗試,難免會緊張、焦慮;不過慶幸的是,我時常與自己對話,幾乎每天都會扮演著父母對自己說:你很棒、你做得到、你是獨特的,儘管我知道不是真的,但卻還是讓我有「想讓他成為事實」的動力,不想讓自己失望。

如果你/妳也正在煩惱某些事,相信自己,去相信,相信著自己的自己。

Lately, there have been so many things I want to try—ideas, plans, possibilities.
It’s natural to feel nervous or anxious.
But one thing I’m grateful for is how often I talk to myself.

Almost every day, I play the role of a parent to myself,
saying things like:
“You’re doing great.”
“You’ve got this.”
“You’re one of a kind.”

I know those words aren’t always true.
But still—they give me the drive to make them true.
Because I don’t want to let myself down.

If you’re going through something too,
believe in yourself.
Believe in the version of you that already does.
